Answers
Website structure, navigation and technical details
In the Details Page, the first page image of each score appears somehow blury. Why?
That image is a low resolution .gif reproduction of each score's first page. It opens faster than
a high resolution image, for your convenience. The sole purpose of an image in the Details Page is
to visually remind you of the score you are searching, and nothing else. Of course the quality of the
images in PDF (and of those in .enc files, for that matter) is many times higher.

Encore, PDF and MIDI downloadable files
Can I make changes to the files I downloaded?
If you have the full version of Encore Music Software, you will be able to make changes to .enc files,
saving and/or printing them, for your personal use only. It is strictly forbidden to sell or resell
either originals or modified Encore files based on our originals, and to use any reference to our
website on the modified version, even if it is only for your personal usage. There is a perfect way, though,
for your modified, or even your own original Encore files to be offered worldwide. Please
read more about it here.

Why are the scores in PDF published in that particular size and format?
We were very careful in choosing the standard formats for our website, since one of our main concerns
was the full satisfaction of members all around the world. The PDF format, in particular, was the result
of a meticulous investigation about paper sizes and printer models used worldwide, and the
determination to set a format that would satisfy virtually all options.

Why can't I just open the .enc and .mid files online?
Differently from "Download PDF", when you press the "Download ENC" or "Download MID" buttons, the system
will hang if you want to open the files online. All our files are in a secure and restricted area of the
website, and neither Encore nor Winamp (or similar) know how to handle the encrypted link. It is
necessary to download the files to your own computer in order to use them, which is, ultimately, more
secure and convenient for everybody.

Resources like Encore music software, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and others
What are the differences between demo and full versions of Encore music software?
Demo version has all the features of the Encore full version, except the ability to print and/or save
changes in .enc files. With the demo version you can open our files, play them, make changes (even
though you may not save them), etc. You may not print our .enc files, but it really makes no difference,
since we provide a high quality PDF version, which perfectly supplies your printing needs.

Membership Programs
Why is the Platinum Membership necessary to be in Partnership with your website?
The Platinum Membership will teach you all the necessary techniques to take full advantage of Encore, as
well as the detailed specifications of your work in order to be posted on our website. Even if you
already are an expert Encore engraver, the approval process is still relatively time consuming for us. In
order to afford the revisionists fees, we have to count on the Platinum Membership's resources to do so.

Usage, Copyrights and Partnerships
May I use the scores for teaching purposes?
Of course you may! Since Encore files are excellent teaching tools, it is an honor for us that you use
them for your own improvement, or to teach others at any skill level.

Can I make my own scores available on your website?
We would be delighted to have you onboard! The procedures are simple and very straight forward, and will
be implemented the moment our Platinum Membership program goes online.
